We are excited to welcome the New Year with joy as Alexis and I anticipate the arrival of our first child, a baby girl due in mid-January 2019. During the upcoming weeks, we will maintain our regular business hours for scheduled appointments. If there are no appointments after 4:00 pm, our office may close early. While we are busy planning and organizing at home, our dedication to Heartwood Holistic Health, our patients, and our friends remains unwavering.

I'd like to share a memorable story from this journey. In the early stages of Alexis' pregnancy, we often wondered if the small kicks and movements were our daughter's movements or simply stomach sounds. With time, we learned to distinguish between the two, and Alexis grew more attuned to our daughter's patterns. One evening during the 36th week, after dinner, as we hugged, we noticed a small twitch that repeated every few seconds where our bellies touched. We both realized that our little girl had the hiccups. It was a precious moment that will stay with us forever.
